The Role

Overview

Install, maintain, and lead projects for electronic security systems (IDS, ACS, CCTV).

Tasks

-Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders. -Combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events). -Leading teams on Large complex installation projects with limited supervision. -Documenting daily reports and project progress. -Communicating project and team member issues/concerns to management -Programming and Installation of head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems. -Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense. -Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and Safety Audits. -May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools. -Forecast and Manage Project Labor Hours Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Subordinates -Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level. -Create and manage Project schedule Integration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systems -Document and Track RFIs. -Guide and Mentor Technicians -Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory Performing Take off project drawings Create, -Lead the on-site software commissioning and testing. -Relocates a 12 foot stepladder without assistance. -Installing and Maintain equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.

What You Bring

-8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs -Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. -Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis. -Requires a Valid driver's license. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. -Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English. -Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills. -Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives. -Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program -HS diploma or GED Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or -Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams. -Open and transparent communication with senior leadership as well as local office management. -An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities -Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus. -3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems -Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy -Must be able to travel 50%. -Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems. -Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or -The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to [50 pounds] on a regular basis. Candidates must demonstrate physical strength and stamina to perform various tasks, including but not limited to, loading, and unloading, operating equipment, and assisting in the transportation of various materials. Proper lifting techniques and safety protocols must be followed to ensure personal and team safety.
