Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Supervisor

Overview

Supervises HVAC project planning, installation, QA, procurement, and site operations.

Tasks

-Supervise testing and commissioning of equipment (air balancing, water balancing, system performance). -Maintain daily reports, material usage logs, and work progress. -Identify hazards and take immediate corrective actions. -Prepare work schedules, manpower planning, and project execution plans. -Ensure safe working practices are followed as per site safety policies. -Attend site and project meetings; provide regular progress updates to management. -Ensure submission of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranty documents. -Ensure installation complies with approved drawings, BOQ, and quality standards. -Conduct quality inspections at every stage of HVAC installation. -Resolve technical issues and offer guidance to technicians and subcontractors. -Coordinate with clients for final inspection and successful handover. -Manage daily site activities and monitor HVAC crew/subcontractors. -Supervise the installation of HVAC systems including: -Review HVAC drawings, technical specifications, and project scope. -Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs. -Verify material quality and ensure proper storage at site. -Conduct regular toolbox talks; ensure PPE compliance. -Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of equipment and materials. -Ensure compliance with ASHRAE/ISHRAE standards, NBC, and relevant codes. -Coordinate with architects, consultants, and other services (MEP) for seamless integration. -Allocate tasks and monitor manpower productivity and discipline. -Prepare and maintain project records: site reports, inspection requests, and checklists.
