Tasks

-Conduct emergency repairs to minimise production downtime -Provide technical assistance and training to operators and other staff. -Stand-in for Lead Technician/ Chargehand when they are not on site. -Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. -Perform repairs on a wide range of equipment, including Vacuum plants, Oil processing equipment, FLTs, Compressed air systems, Lighting and production machinery. -Mentor apprentices and new starters to the department.

What You Bring

-Proven track record in a similar role -HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering -NVQ3, ONC or City & Guilds qualification -Mechanical apprenticeship
