Overview
Oversee site safety, enforce protocols, conduct inspections, and manage incidents.

Tasks
-Shall ensure that all Incident Reports are submitted to the Safety Department and the Contractor within 24 hours of the occurrence, or sooner if required by the Project. -Effectively handle stressful situations and deadlines -Must monitor and analyze data and solve problems on a tactical and strategic level. -Has the authority to “stop the work” of Morley-Moss crews or their subcontractors when he/she observes at-risk work practices or unsafe conditions. -Shall make employees and subcontractors aware of any special conditions or hazards in existence. These special conditions may include special safety requirements because of operating practices, electrical hazards, mechanical hazards, hazardous materials, or other site-specific conditions. -Will oversee one or more site specific projects that will be assigned by the Safety Manager. -Shall routinely inspect the project for the purpose of discovering at-risk work practices and unsafe conditions that could lead to an Incident, Near-miss or violation of the Company or Project Health and Safety Procedures and requirements. -Shall coordinate with the Project Management to ensure that injured/ill employees are escorted by a Manager to the pre-determined medical clinic with the proper paperwork and forms completed. -Shall immediately report all Incidents and Near-misses to the Project Management, Safety Department and Contractor. This includes Incidents or Near-misses involving: -Shall ensure that all Morley Moss sub-contractors are in compliance with Morley Moss Safety Procedures, their own safety programs, the project safety requirements, and Local, State or Federal regulations. -Shall advise Project Management and employees in safe work practices, while supplying the information necessary to comply with Morley Moss Safety Procedures, the project safety requirements and Local, State or Federal regulations.

What You Bring
-Must have the ability to make sound decisions and produce accurate and timely results in mind. -OSHA 30 Certificate -Working knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines -Proficiency in database management -Must prioritize and organize work in a fast paced multi-task environment. -Must build positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees, management, suppliers, and customers. -Excellent computer skills -Preferred 5-10 years of prior safety experience, electrical background, participation in root cause analysis, NFPA 70e -Must demonstrate integrity, honesty, professionalism, and appropriate concern regarding dissemination of sensitive and confidential information. -Working knowledge of the construction industry, operations management, and safety practices a plus. -High initiative and ability to work well in a team environment -Strategic, analytical, and multi-tasking skills -Able to work up to 50+ per week as needed. May include various shift hours and/or weekends, based on project needs. -Responsible and organized -Excellent organization, communication, customer service and interpersonal skills -Scheduling and time management skills -Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Outlook, Teams, Power Point, Word and Excel), Blue Beam/Adobe PDF -Excellent communication skills -Business writing and reporting skills -Preferred bachelor’s degree in safety engineering, safety management, occupational environment health, industrial health or related field is imperative. Wide experience and knowledge of environmental health and safety is necessary in order to perform the job of Safety Manager. -In-depth knowledge of the industry -High school diploma or GED required.
