Tasks

A Project Manager for Geotechnical Engineering will manage projects while maintaining our high standards of services. Projects and clients will be varied, ranging from public to private, roads to structures, simple to complex. A Geotechnical Project Manager will manage all aspects of the project life cycle, including: business development, proposal preparation, execution of services and completion of reports. A Geotechnical Project Manager will work amongst a group of engineers and will mentor and manage junior engineers. -Manage geotechnical investigations for various project types and sizes, including public and private. -Analyze complex geotechnical problems and provide constructible solutions backed by sound engineering practices -Manage various clients, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely delivery of high-quality reports and completion of the services within the expected budget -Management of geotechnical studies for private and public sector projects -Oversee and mentor staff engineers and project engineers working within the department -Market geotechnical services via building client connections and preparation of proposals

What You Bring

-Minimum of 8 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, or project engineering -Knowledge of geotechnical laboratory testing procedures -Experienced in client management, business development and marketing -Professional Engineer (P.E.) license -Expert in geotechnical field investigations and geotechnical analyses
