Overview

Design and develop electrical infrastructure for sustainable building projects.

Tasks

-Work as an integral team member on some of the most prestigious construction projects in the UK, working alongside world class architects and innovative engineering teams. -Attend workshops and meetings with the architect and project team. -Visit construction sites and witness system commissioning. -Develop high and low voltage electrical infrastructure design. -Liaise with manufacturers to keep abreast of latest technologies and applications. -Write technical reports, design presentations and prepare tender drawings and specifications. -Analyse electrical requirements of buildings for central plant, lighting and small power to determine loads and incoming power requirement. -Design lighting, small power and fire alarms to coordinate with architecture and interior design.

-Are confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint). -Have a degree relevant to the role you’re applying for. -Have less than 12 months of relevant work experience (excluding placements). -Are driven, proactive, and solution-oriented. -Can work in the UK without restrictions either now or in the future.
