Tasks

-Develop and optimise the powerhouse layout integrating key hydro-mechanical and hydro-electrical equipment -Prepare detailed technical specifications, design reports, drawings, and other documentation. -Prepare, review, and coordinate civil, mechanical, and electrical design inputs related to hydropower plants. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate all components of the scheme. -Lead the design development and optimisation of large-scale hydropower and pumped hydropower schemes, including both surface and underground components -Conduct and review feasibility studies for new hydropower projects. -Ensure designs are technically sound, cost-effective, and aligned with project objectives and site conditions.

What You Bring

-Minimum of 8 years’ experience in hydropower design -Proficiency in mechanical and structural analysis tools and CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Inventor, ANSYS) -Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Civil or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
