Overview

Design and install AV systems for C2 facilities, ensuring mission-critical functionality.

Tasks

-Prepare pre-installation, test, and checkout documents of all new AV equipment components and subcomponents. -We expect the employee to keep manager and supervisors apprised of their progress, maintain ability to work well with others, adhere to contract requirements, and comply with company policies and procedures. -Engineering review of current drawing packages, make requisite changes required to meet requirements and room configurations. -While performing duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand and/or walk for long periods at a time, sit, use of hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, climb ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, or smell. -Engineering oversite and Installation of AV equipment components and subcomponents in locations specified in the IDP or as otherwise directed by the Government. -Cataloging and archiving software media included and/or created for AV equipment.

What You Bring

-Must be able to successfully pass a background check and pre hire drug test. -Possess knowledge and skills for monitoring and measuring quality while the AV system is designed and developed through design reviews and engineering review milestones. -Ability to meet deadlines and exercise judgment in Quality AV Design. -May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary. -Certified Technical Specialist – Design (CTS-D) (AVIXA Certification). -Bachelor’s level degree in an Engineering discipline or Industrial Design. -Current active TS/SCI Clearance -Certified Quality Designer – (CQD) (AQAV Certification). -Outdoor work, if any, is subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions. -Ability to effectively communicate with all team members. -Skilled in effectively managing and prioritizing taskings. -Three (3) years of professional experience in mechanical, structural, or electrical/electronic design. -Experience in Audio Visual Engineering & Design well versed in AV Applications.
