Tasks
-Ensure compliance with all Company and Government policies and regulations. -Assist in budgeting and forecasting. -Overseeing proper implementation of safety procedures. -Ensure processes for quality product production and collaborate with area QC department. -Assist in identifying deficiencies and implement a plan for continuous improvement. -Supervising mine employees and processing plant operations. -Assist in mine and pit planning and development.

What You Bring
-Ability to develop leadership at the lead person and foreman levels. -Demonstrated ability in identifying, communicating, and implementing best operating practices, including quality, maintenance, production, and safety excellence. -Constant communication and collaboration with sales team. -Basic surveying and mapping skills preferred. -Working knowledge of profit and loss statements and basic accounting principles. -Possess strong basic math knowledge. -Strong communication and leadership skills. -Minimum of 3 years of experience in quarry or sand & gravel mining operations. -Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, geological engineering or similar preferred. -Working knowledge of environmental policies, standards, and best practices. -Proven safety record and excellent compliance in MSHA safety standards for Part 46 & 48. -Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory/management role within the mining industry. -Actively reaching out and being involved in the local community. -Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Office.
