Tasks
-Perform analysis of data or calculations -Assist in development of planning and engineering solutions -Perform field data collection and other on-site project support activities -Assist in data mining and visualization -Collaborate with numerous VHB staff, clients, and consultants to advance projects in a timely manner -Prepare written documents, summarize information collected by others, and assemble reports

Land Development engineers require a variety of skills to develop ideas and creative solutions that help make challenging development projects a reality. We are there at every stage of a project; from preliminary research, site survey, conceptual/final design, and permitting, all the way through construction. We work closely with VHBers across disciplines, and consultants to ensure a project fulfills the needs of our client. -Currently pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field -Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills -Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) required -Ability to travel locally and complete fieldwork if necessary -Ability to work on a computer remotely if necessary -Knowledge of drawing and mapping tools such as AutoCAD and GIS -Team oriented with strong capability to work independently -Self-motivated with attention to detail
