Tasks

-Providing technical advice to the business and act as a focal point for all technical design related matters on the project -Drive innovative and cost effective solutions into the design. -Manage the flow of technical issues to and from site to ensure that all parties have all required information. -Help manage a range of external consultants, managing their performance to ensure that they deliver the agreed outcomes. -Provide design solutions to the build team during the production process to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner. -Liaise with the Commercial department to ensure all relevant orders are placed in line with the agreed budget. -Management of design review meetings, progress & performance reporting, and design change control.

What You Bring

The role would suit someone who is currently working as a Design or Technical Manager for a Residential Developer or Main Contractor or a architectural practice who is looking to work for a developer. Experience of working on apartment led projects, gained from within a Residential/Mixed Use Developer or Housebuilder would be appropriate for the role. In addition, all candidates will need to be capable of forming effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders, and exhibit a calm, professional approach to problem solving.
