Tasks

-System documentation and review -Configuration of visualization tools such as OSIsoft PI DataLink / Vision, Ignition Vision / Perspective, Rockwell VantagePoint -Provide post-commissioning support to the client’s operations, engineering, and maintenance personnel -Preparing data to identify patterns and trends in data sets -Preparing data sources for analysis -Interface with clients to understand and documents project scope of work -Travel to the client’s site as required -Program, design, analyze, code, implement, and test software applications, modules, and databases in various languages, including those associated with scientific, technical, or engineering concerns -Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business -Defining new data collection and analysis processes -Human-Machine Interface (HMI) development

What You Bring

-Knowledge of Process Automation -File interfaces, Universal File Loaders) -Experience/certification or interest in relevant applications (OSIsoft PI, -Competent user of Microsoft office products including use of Excel and Word -Architecture, implementation, and configuration of historian and/or data analytic solutions (e.g., OSIsoft PI, Inductive Automation Ignition, PTC ThingWorx, Aspectech, Rockwell Automation, Falkonry, etc.) -Industry experience in Food and Beverage, Chemical, Pharma, Semiconductor, Water & Wastewater, Refining, Pulp and Paper, Oil/Gas Pipeline, Power Generation, Electrical Transmission & Distribution, Material Handling, or Packaging -3-5 years of experience in a similar engineering role -Interest or experience in AI/Machine Learning -Ignition, PTC, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Aspentech, etc.) -Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and flexibly with a team -Degreed in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar), Computer Science, or similar scientific / technical field -Programming experience (e.g., OSIsoft PI-SDK and AF-SDK, Python scripting, MatLab, etc.) -Experience in interface technologies (e.g., OPC, modbus, RDBMS, Batch -Knowledge of System Integration Testing and Unit Testing -High integrity -Knowledge of Databases, MS SQL, Oracle, Ignition SQL Bridge Module -Ability to set priorities and manage workloads in order to meet deadlines, yet careful with work quality and attention to details -A desire for continual challenge and development, and excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with businesses, understand requirements, develop functional and technical specs documents. -Ability to work unsupervised at client locations
