Tasks

The successful candidate will contribute to the design and delivery of mechanical systems for a variety of high-profile building projects. You’ll collaborate as part of an integrated project team, ensuring efficient, sustainable, and compliant design solutions from concept through to completion. -Undertake engineering design and design management tasks across multiple projects. -Design and specify mechanical engineering systems in line with current regulations and standards. -Provide technical support to estimating, procurement, and construction teams. -Support pre-construction activities, including design development, coordination, and technical documentation. -Major Healthcare Campus Redevelopment – design of high-efficiency HVAC and mechanical systems for a large hospital expansion. -Work directly with clients and project engineers to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, practical, and adaptable engineer to grow within a progressive, innovative, and award-winning team. The successful candidate will have minimum 1 year experience working in an Irish design consultancy. -Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering. -Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and attention to detail. -Strong technical proficiency in mechanical systems design. -Minimum 3 years’ experience in a design consultancy environment. -Proficient in Hevacomp, AutoCAD, and MS Office. -Flagship Commercial Office Development – sustainable building design targeting LEED Gold certification. -Knowledge of CIBSE, ASHRAE, Building Regulations, EN and IEC standards. -Experience collaborating with clients, contractors, and vendors.
