Overview
Inspect and prepare Caterpillar engines for delivery, meeting specs and deadlines.

Tasks
-Carry out the safe in-depth pre-delivery inspection and engine preparation. -Identify any parts required and clearly communicate to the service control team and execute the preparation to the highest possible standards. -Keep the workshop and work area in a clean and orderly condition while working to CAT contamination control guidelines, Branch Star Rating and keeping yourself and colleagues safe. -You will work within the workshop in a small team, but will be responsible for the completion of your own allocated engines -Complete all health and safety pre-work documentation and liaise with the customer service team to provide the very best customer experience. -Liaising with the Customer Service Controller to communicate any engine preparation issues and updates on progress

What You Bring
-Practical knowledge of rigging, slinging and jacking procedures -Deep understanding of the use of general service manuals and computerised Service Information System (SIS) from the OEM -Industry leading CAT product training -It is expected of you to travel to and from work by your own arrangements. -Forklift licence desirable, or a desire for training -Practical knowledge of tooling and specialised equipment to carry out the pre delivery inspection on new engines
