Tasks

-Perform safety analysis -Lead and/or mentor a group of staff traffic engineer -Perform and manage traffic operational analysis and traffic engineering studies -Perform transportation master plan studies -Meet with clients -Collaborate with roadway, structures, hydraulics, and environmental groups within our Transportation business unit. -Communicate effectively with internal team members, subconsultant partners, and clients -Assist in proposal development

These screenings will be conducted by Dewberry’s background vendor of choice and will be conducted in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local law. -Project Management and leadership skills preferred -BS in Civil Engineering -Experience in VISUM, SIDRA preferred -Minimum 5-10 years of experience in traffic modeling / engineering -Proficiency with analysis software (VISSIM, Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS) required -Excellent communication and organizational skills -VDOT, MDOT and/or design-build experience preferred -PE license preferred, PTOE preferred -MicroStation experience preferred
