Operate and package asphalt, load trucks, maintain records, ensure safety

Tasks

-Join a collaborative team environment within an organization dedicated to employee safety and delivering impeccable work quality for our valued customers -Enforcing safe operations of the traffic management and implementing safety controls on site -Day-to-day administration of the Plant including prestarts, daily operator summary log and stock on hand count; -Work closely with the dispatch team and allocations; -Loading of delivery trucks with Forklift -General yard and plant housekeeping and maintenance, along with the safe operation of a front-end loader and forklift. -Docketing of sales orders and processing orders via phone or email if and when required -Reporting of any safety/environment hazards, near misses or incidents. -Loading of trucks with Loader

What You Bring

-Strong organisational skills including the ability to multitask and prioritise competing deadlines. -FEL ticket (desirable) -Physical lifting of 20kg will be required -The safe and efficient operation of Asphalt packaging plant -Completing accurate stock counting and be willing to complete monthly stocktakes and entries via Command Apex -Strong work ethic with the desire to learn and progress your career which will include administrative duties and computer use (basic to moderate computer knowledge desirable). -Asphalt industry experience or warehousing experience but not essential. -Packaging of Asphalt products, ability to lift 20kg frequently and incorporate safe manual handling techniques -General Construction White Card
