Overview

Ensures timely acquisition and delivery of materials, coordinating suppliers and tracking orders.

Tasks

-Maintain accurate records of material shipments, inventory levels, and delivery schedules using tracking systems and databases. -Coordinate with procurement and project management teams to prioritize material needs based on project timelines and production schedules. -Verify that received materials meet quality standards and specifications before acceptance. -Prepare and submit regular reports on material status, delivery performance, and inventory levels to management. -Communicate regularly with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to expedite orders and resolve any issues or delays. -Monitor and track the status of material orders from placement through delivery to ensure on-time receipt. -Identify potential supply chain bottlenecks and collaborate with stakeholders to develop contingency plans.

What You Bring

-Experience in a manufacturing, construction, or engineering environment. -Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. -Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. -Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. -Knowledge of quality control processes and material specifications. -Certification in supply chain management or logistics (e.g., APICS, CSCP). -Proficiency with inventory management and order tracking software. -Minimum of 2 years experience in materials expediting, procurement, or supply chain coordination. -Strong organizational and communication skills. -High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred.
