
Senior Electrical Project Manager - Data Center Construction

The Role
Overview
Lead construction of large-scale data centers, managing budgets, teams, and client relations.

Tasks
-Mentor subordinates to support their development -Coordinate activities of staff and subcontractors -Assist leadership in the planning of future labor/material needs of the project -Provide consistent reports and updates to senior management -Generate estimates, review project proposals -Develop project scopes and budgets -Forecast financial direction to course correct as needed -Lead efforts for billing early and collecting often -Collaborate with the customer to clarify and meet expectations before, during, and after project completion -Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address issues -Supervise project execution to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements -Develop and maintain strong client and employee relationships -Manage RFPs and Change Management Forms -Establish project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation -Work directly with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery

What You Bring
-Mission Critical Project experience -Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI-Scheduling Professional (SP) -Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Engineering, etc.), paired with industry experience OR an overall appropriate combination of certification(s), experience, and education (journeyman or master electrician’s license) -10+ years of Construction Project Management experience -Compliance with company, client, and project policies -Effective scheduling and delegation to accomplish tasks on time -Ability to work calmly under deadlines and external pressure -Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position. -Experience with retrofits in operational facilities and cross-discipline critical facility systems -Job site safety and adherence to company national policies -Strong computer skills and quick to learn new systems -Experience with Data Center electrical distribution systems, cabling, and white space fit-out -Experience with Google Suite, Salesforce, and ConEst -5+ years of Electrical Project Management for large scale, complex IT/Telecommunications Infrastructure projects, including Data Centers installations -Tactful conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
