Tasks

-Quality Assurance: Collaborate with operations and quality control teams to ensure that production plans meet the requirements to produce a quality product. Monitor on hold items as needed to resolve in a timely manner. -Communication: Communicate production schedules, priorities, and updates to relevant stakeholders. Keep all teams informed of any changes to the production plan and address any issues that may arise. -Data Analysis: Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize production plans. Use this analysis to make informed decisions and improve production efficiency. -Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages or excess inventory. Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of materials for production and safety stocks. Raw Material ordering in some “business units” may be required. -Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in production planning and execution. Implement best practices to optimize workflows and reduce costs. -Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts, resource availability, material availability, and production capacity. -Coordination: Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to coordinate production activities, resolve scheduling conflicts, and ensure timely delivery of products.

-21-40 LBS -Metrics: Understanding of metrics and targets pertaining to business unit. -1-10 LBS -11-20 LBS -Master Data: Basic Master Data maintenance as required by team expectations. -51 OR MORE LBS -Problem Solving -1-40 LBS -Associates or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, or related field -40 plus hours per week, must be present during these hours to answer inquiries from management, other departments. -Technical Proficiency -2+ years in related field, internship, or employed within the company. -APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) -41-50 LBS -High School Diploma -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other production planning software. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Plant visit(s) – Required PPE provided by plants. -Attention to Detail -Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. -Time Management -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
