Tasks

-Performs work using Standard Application Programs and appropriate computer aided design and computer aided engineering (CAD and CAE) tools. -Plans, conducts and coordinates detailed phases of engineering work. -Reviews bid analyses and makes recommendations. -Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice but may include complex features such as resolving conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials and/or difficult coordination requirements. -Reviews and checks work of junior team members and provides input for their performance evaluation -Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of cost estimates, quantity take-offs and staffing requirements for proposals, forecasts and change orders. -Prepares or assists in preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports or proposals, design criteria, specifications, budget and schedules for projects of varying complexity. -Perform the finite element modeling and structural analysis of various steel and concrete structures. -Coordinates engineering effort in assigned areas between specialty and other engineering groups or disciplines, with the client, suppliers, and contractors and between other groups.

What You Bring

-Experience in leading a team of engineers and designers in EPC and/or big FEED projects. -Capable of planning, assigning, guiding and monitoring work of the team members -Minimum 4-year degree from an accredited college in Civil Engineering -Understanding of industry or regulatory codes and standards and design criteria pertinent to the engineering discipline. -Understanding engineering planning and control methods including computerized methods. -Understanding of the roles played by other disciplines like Plant Layout and Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, Geotech and Construction etc. -16-20 years of relevant work experience -Capable of assuring quality of design and associated deliverables -Experience in design of Flat slabs, Cheese slabs shall be an added advantage. -Possesses a broad understanding of the major design engineering deliverables. -Preference will be given to the candidates with Master’s degree in relevant subject.
