Tasks

-Drive business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, pursuing RFQs/RFPs, and collaborating on proposals, interviews, and marketing initiatives. -Guide projects from schematic design through construction administration, ensuring design excellence, technical accuracy, and code compliance. -Collaborate with firm leadership to promote innovation, profitability, and design excellence across all studios and disciplines. -Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact to ensure exceptional communication, service, and trust. -Develop and execute business development plans for the Justice and Civic sectors, aligning studio goals with firm-wide vision and objectives. -Lead the Studio’s operations and performance, including project delivery, scheduling, and financial management. -Mentor and develop staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth through guidance and feedback. -Work with Practice and Office Leaders to establish clear performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and support staff development. -Represent GHC externally through participation in professional organizations, conferences, and community engagement to strengthen the firm’s market position. -Facilitate cross-office collaboration, sharing expertise and ensuring consistency in quality, innovation, and technical standards firm-wide.

What You Bring

-This role is available at any of our Texas locations. -Licensed Architect required. -Proven success in team leadership, client management, and business development. -Proficient in REVIT, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling software, and MS Office. -Strong architectural skills in design, detailing, and construction administration. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program. -Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. -10–15 years of professional experience, including leadership in Justice, Municipal, or Institutional projects.
