Tasks

-Solicitation and review vendor and subcontractor quotations -Quantity takeoff entry into estimating software -Draft and submit proposal documents -Review current material pricing levels -Review and estimate addenda as required -Attend weekly estimating team meetings -Follow post bid closeout procedures -Review bid/construction schedule -Visit site and/or attend site walk meeting

What You Bring

-Excellent oral and written communications skills -Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position) -PTO accrual of up to 120 hours in a full year (subject to plan terms thereafter) -5 years of experience as an electrical estimator -Electrical construction experience or construction management degree -Demonstrated conceptual estimates and financial analytical skills -Requires the knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through the completion of an electrical training program, two-year technical or business degree, or equivalent combinations of education and experience -Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
