Quality Inspector - Day Shift

Overview

Inspect, test, package, and ship drywall tools, handling materials and warranty work.

Tasks

-Inspect product (tools) for any defects before we ship to our customers -Performs internal testing, internal checks, and cosmetic inspections. -Warranty and repair work for our customers as needed.

What You Bring

-Minimum 6-12 months of previous material handling experience or equivalent knowledge -Must be able to comprehend and retain internal and regulatory requirements -Must be able to unload shipping containers by hand. -Able to lift at least 50 pounds and be willing to work in a non climate controlled environment part of the time. -Must be able to use micrometers and calipers -Basic mechanical skills and be able to use basic tools like Allen wrenches, nut drivers, Phillips and slotted screw drivers. -Read, write and speak Spanish and English fluently -Must be able to distinguish between part numbers and sizes -Must understand and follow the quality policy and procedures -Must be able to handle physical, repetitive work and be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours a day -Willing to work overtime on the weekdays and weekends. -Strong mathematical and computer skills
