Tasks

-Assist in planning, monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and policy inputs for WEP. -Support the State Project Manager in managing PMU operations and achieving project goals. -Support research, documentation, knowledge management, and policy analysis activities. -Liaise with the World Bank, DWCDSW, and other stakeholders for smooth project execution. -Undertake additional tasks assigned by the Project Director or SPM to meet project objectives. -Coordinate pilot initiatives, onboarding of experts, and effective resource utilization. -Help prepare and implement Operational Guidelines and Annual Action Plans.

What You Bring

-Prior work in women’s economic empowerment initiatives in West Bengal desirable. -Experience with government, UN, or World Bank-funded projects preferred. -Minimum 10 years of experience in the public/social sector, with at least 5 years in a similar role. -Excellent communication skills in English and Bengali. -Strong management, coordination, and analytical skills. -Skilled in networking, advocacy, and negotiation. -Transparent, participative, and willing to travel as required. -Master’s degree in Management, Administration, Social Work, Rural Development, or related field from a recognized institution. -Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
