Tasks

-Performs engineering reviews and approval of projects prepared by others. -Oversee the creation of computer models of overhead electric transmission lines and structures using PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and TOWER. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. -Assemble drawings, specifications, and design criteria for the procurement of tubular steel structures, lattice towers, and transmission line hardware. -Ensure projects meet client specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. -Performs quality audits on client deliverables to ensure ENTRUST maintains our standard of excellence. -Lead and manage transmission line engineering projects ranging from 69kV to 500kV from inception to completion. -Occasional travel for site visits and client meetings as necessary. -Leads training and development of other engineers to provide technical guidance and training related to engineering design and code compliance issues around engineering expertise. -Develops new policies, standards, tools, and other technical items for company wide use and implementation. -Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and design teams.

What You Bring

-Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams but also independently. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -QA/QC of complete transmission line designs. -Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE software. TOWER experience is a plus. -Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects. -Must have a PE. -Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited university. -Knowledge of design codes and standards. -Minimum of 10 years of experience in transmission line engineering. -Proficiency in FAD/LPILE. -Strong leadership and a passion for mentoring other engineers.
