Tasks
-Responsible for submittal, operations and maintenance, and closeout process -Negotiate pricing of all change orders -Develop the initial schedule for our client's work on the project -Responsible for submission of RFIs and review of responses to determine scope impact -Act as the primary business manager for our client on construction projects -Provide project information to the Construction Manager for the job Superintendent, Fabrication Division, and Start-up Supervisor -Plan and coordinate with the Construction Manager on project requirements as they relate to scheduling, sequence, production, and quality -Primary responsibility for the redemption of equipment, material, and subcontractor estimates

What You Bring
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to manage commercial and industrial electrical construction projects in Central Virginia. Join their successful and growing team to help bring buildings to life! -Hands-on project management experience of commercial construction projects in excess of $3M (single project) or 3 to 6 simultaneous electrical portions of equal value -Acumen for business, including knowledge and interest in business and management principles involved in strategic planning, accounting, cost forecasting, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably electrical), Building Construction, or Construction Engineering Management, or equivalent years of experience -Ability to deal diplomatically with internal and external customers at various levels within an organization—i.e., owners, GCs, subcontractors, engineers, superintendents, draftsmen, etc. -EOE M/W/Disability/Vets -Strong analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills -Demonstrated skills, experience, and proficiency with technology, including knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and project management software -Demonstrated responsibility for projects lasting a year or more
