Tasks

Reporting to the Commercial and Finance Manager, you’ll oversee financial planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management to ensure the project meets its contractual and performance targets. As part of the North East Link Program (NELP), the upgrade will improve safety and efficiency for over 135,000 daily vehicles, remove 15,000 trucks from local roads, and reduce traffic across the Yarra River by 50,000 vehicles per day. As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading financial operations and supporting commercial strategy across the TSA project. Apply now to join the BMD and help shape the future of Victoria’s infrastructure. -Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders including MRPV, subcontractors, and alliance partners. -Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and alliance governance requirements. -Support commercial decision-making through financial analysis and risk assessment. -Champion the alliance culture, values, and diversity initiatives. -Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and project controls. -Lead financial management processes including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

What You Bring

-A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Law, Quantity Surveying, Business or a related discipline. -Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills. -Proven experience in senior financial roles within construction or engineering projects. -Advanced skills in financial systems, contract administration, and risk management.
