Tasks

-Supervise and manage the delivery of multiple projects, occasionally leading small teams with delegated authority from the Team Leader or Principal Engineer. -Mentor and support Graduates and Engineers, while continuing your own professional growth. -Take ownership of challenging projects, leading the preliminary and detailed design of levels, drainage and external works in both public (adoptable) and private realms. -Build and maintain excellent relationships with existing clients while showcasing our capabilities to new ones.

What You Bring

-Commercial awareness, with developing influencing and negotiating skills, plus the ability to nurture new and existing client relationships. -Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D (or PDS with a willingness to train on Civil 3D), MicroDrainage and Microsoft Office. -Strong communication skills – written and verbal – with the adaptability to engage different audiences. -Proven experience in Civil Engineering design – particularly in levels, drainage and external works. -The ability to delegate effectively, mentor others and foster a supportive, high-performing team culture. -A collaborative mindset, with an understanding of other disciplines and a desire to develop project coordination skills. -Experience of managing complex projects through planning to completion, liaising with planning authorities, statutory undertakers and national bodies like the Environment Agency.
