Tasks

-Analysis of electric drive systems and component design. -Implementation and cooperation of concept and feasibility studies. -Specifying electrical, software and control functions of industrial electric drives of wind turbines. -Analysis and implementation of software functions/units related to electric drives and associated systems. -Development of yaw and pitch system models and their functions in Matlab/Simulink. -Verification and validation of component and sub/system functions on test benches and prototype wind turbines.

What You Bring

-Software engineering skills and experience with industrial motors and converter systems (e.g. ABB, Siemens SINAMICS, KEBA, KEB or similar) are an advantage. -Qualification of interdisciplinary yaw and pitch drive functions and wind turbine functions. -Proactive in executing the tasks. -Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent qualification. -Good knowledge of state-of-the-art electrical machines and their function for single and multi-axis industrial applications. -Function-based development approaches as well as systems thinking and development according to the V-model. -As a Senior you have experience in the control and modeling of electric drive systems. -Know-how in model-based development with Matlab/Simulink. -Knowledge in HIL Testing. -Programming skills in Python. -Knowledge in the field of electric drives (converters, motors, sensors, encoders, axis control, software functions, mechanics).
