Overview

Perform aircraft loads analysis & simulations, support design, testing, and certification.

Tasks

-Collaborate with other engineering disciplines. -Perform analyses and simulations to compute aircraft design loads. -Prepare and maintain finite element models for loads analysis. -Perform Verification and Validation of analysis results. -Utilize commercial and in-house tools for load computations. -Support flight testing and post-process results. -Contribute to in-service engineering and present findings in reports and presentations. -Support aircraft landing gear development, analysis, and testing.

What You Bring

-Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. -Good understanding of FEM, unsteady aerodynamics, and frequency-based data analysis. -Good organizational skills and ability to complete tasks within budget and on schedule. -Experience in developing FEM models and computing airframe and component design loads. -Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. -Good understanding of FAR 25 certification requirements. -Advanced programming knowledge in Matlab, Python, C/C++, and Linux/Windows scripting. -Proficiency in using Nastran for Dynamic/Aeroelastic analysis. -At least 8 years of experience in external loads analyses in the aerospace industry. -Experience in static and dynamic aeroelastic loads analyses.
