Overview

Program, install, troubleshoot building automation systems at Monroe, OH.

Tasks

-Field verifies proper operation of all control devices. -Study blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturers' recommendations to ascertain the configuration of heating or cooling equipment components and to ensure the proper installation of components. -Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders. -Troubleshooting existing installations. Could troubleshoot down to the component level. -Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area. -Discuss automation system malfunctions with customers to isolate problems or to verify that malfunctions have been corrected. -Install controllers, sensors, and actuators. -Run and terminate low voltage wiring and cabling as necessary.

What You Bring

-Knowledge and experience programming fully programmable and application specific controllers. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and written reference material. -Knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring and operating principles of electrical devices. -Ability to use hand and power tools. -Ability to communicate with internal team and customers. -Programming experience in Tridium a must. Programming experience in Honeywell, Johnson Controls, or Carrier open a plus. -Qualified individuals will have 3 plus years of experience programming and installing building automation systems. Including: Boiler and chiller plants, custom AHUs, Rooftop units, integration to ancillary systems, etc. -Ability to perform mathematical calculations Ability to diagnose and resolve problems. -Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
