The Role

Overview

Lead bridge/culvert design projects, oversee delivery, and mentor staff.

Tasks

-Providing quality control reviews of design. -Providing conceptual input on the development of design projects. -Project oversight and delivery, preparation/review of plans and specifications, and client communications and meetings. -Preparation of design plans, calculations, details and public bidding documents. -Project coordination with technical quality control and oversight involving most if not all the types of tasks listed below:

What You Bring

-Experience with bridge projects. -Proficiency with Microstation -Knowledge of Open Roads Designer a plus but not required. -Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Maine. -Proficient in technical writing. -Ability to mentor younger staff -Experience delivering transportation related projects with local and state government agencies in Maine and/or other New England States. -A Bachelor’s Degree in civil/structural engineering with 8-12+ years consulting experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
