Tasks
-Implement best practices and stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in control systems testing. -Oversee the collaboration with the Product Test & Validation Team and the Digital development team to ensure validation coverage is maximized while reducing duplication of efforts. -Identify potential risks and issues related to control systems testing -Deliver documentation and records of testing activities for audit and compliance purposes. -Provide training and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. -Ensure that testing activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices. -Identify, log, track, and resolve defects and performance issues. -Ensure that all defects are documented and communicated to relevant teams for resolution. -Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. -Development, execution, and documentation of comprehensive test plans and validation products for control systems ensuring appropriate coverage at all levels while continuously improving efficiency including MIL, SIL, HIL, bench, subsystem, and system/product level testing. -Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies. -Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress, issues, and outcomes. -Monitor and report the progress of testing activities to stakeholders. -The execution of test cases and scenarios, ensuring adherence to the test plan and documented procedures -Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks. -Provide clear and concise status reports, highlighting any issues or roadblocks. -Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and clients.

What You Bring
-Ability to develop and manage test plans, schedules, and resources. -Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Trello. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required; master’s degree in engineering is preferred. -Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment. -Experience with data analysis tools and techniques. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Minimum of 10 years of experience in an engineering test or analysis role, with at least 5 years of people leadership experience demonstrating team growth preferred. -Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively. -Strong analytical skills to interpret test results and identify defects. -In-depth understanding of control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and HMI. -Proficiency in identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies. -Proven leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of testers. -Familiarity with control system architectures and communication protocols. -Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and clients. -Ability to think critically and make informed decisions under pressure.
