Tasks

-Act as a mentor for team members -Construction monitoring and quarterly snagging assessments -Establish client briefs, appropriate fees, and cost control through to completion -Financial, commercial and risk management from project inception through to completion on own projects -Lead on individual Building Surveying, Project Management, and Contract Administration commissions -Mentoring and developing Graduate Building Surveyors and other team members -Comply with all QSE procedures -Survey and Report writing for the full range of typical core Building Surveying services -Be the role model - Lead by example, demand excellence, maintain safety and integrity as top priorities. -Fully involved in or managing others for the production of drawings, specifications and tender documents -Conducting a portfolio of fee based activities with our key multi sector client base

What You Bring

-Strong JCT administration experience -Be impactful - Use clear and frequent communications, drive execution and results. -Excellent client and team interpersonal skills -Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams -Experience in all core Building Surveying work areas especially design and project management -NEC3/4 knowledge preferred. -Chartered Status Holder -Client development skills to develop business with existing clients and confidence to win new work -Sound technical ability for the advisory and project disciplines within building surveying. -Ideally Degree qualified in Building Surveying -Be decisive - Know how to prioritize, advocate focus and accountability -Ability to travel for short periods for work delivery within UK and Worldwide.
