Tasks
-Establishing relationships with communities and acting as the client's representative on-site during construction to gather and provide information. -Applying theory and providing workable solutions related to the implementation of municipal engineering work, including legal survey, land development, and drone technology. -Providing accurate and timely input and summarizing technical reports, plans, studies, proposals, and presentations. -Working alongside Alberta Land Surveyors with cost estimating, contract preparation and administration, project coordination, subdivision applications, and calculations/quality reviews of a variety of legal survey plans.

-Detail-Oriented – You pay close attention to detail and quality control and verify the accuracy of your production work at all stages of a project. -Communication – You are a skilled communicator, both verbal and written. Active listening and asking clarifying questions are important, and you know that listening to people to understand their needs and experiences is integral to making a positive impact. -Problem-solving - you enjoy applying theory and conducting research to provide workable solutions related to the implementation of engineering work. -You have a valid Class 5 Drivers Licence. -Honing your geomatics engineering skills and developing an understanding of best practices in a practical, real world setting, both in an office and field environment. -Proactively and professionally communicating with contractors, co-workers, clients, other consultants, and the public.
