Tasks

-Develop and invent new products in line with company goals and objectives. -Develop formulas, processes, and methods for the solution of technical problems. -Manage development projects by establishing and adhering to timelines, communicating progress, and maintaining detailed records. -Prepare reports, write technical papers, and deliver technical presentations as appropriate. -Troubleshoot chemical-related production problems in conjunction with plant supervisory personnel. -Conduct research on manufactured products to develop and improve products. -Research and respond to customer technical questions as needed. -Scale up new products to production size in conjunction with the manufacturing team. -Conduct technical training for internal and external customers. -Collaborate closely with sales and product management to develop products meeting end user cost, performance, and color requirements. -Prepare standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products, and tests. -Maintain up-to-date lab notebooks detailing specific project work. -Analyze organic and inorganic compounds to determine chemical and physical properties.

What You Bring

-Acquire thorough experience and knowledge of any new product uses and applications. -4-7 years of experience in R&D product development for inks, paints, and coatings. -Experience in an industrial manufacturing setting following GMP standards. -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
