Tasks

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Charlotte, NC, for a skilled Fleet Mechanic. The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of landscaping vehicles and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include conducting inspections, diagnosing mechanical and technical issues, performing preventative maintenance, addressing urgent repairs, and ensuring safety standards are met for all vehicles and machinery.

What You Bring

-ASE Certification or equivalent experience is a plus -High school diploma or GED, with additional training in automotive or equipment repair preferred -Understanding of safety protocols and compliance with industry standards -Strong knowledge of vehicle inspection, maintenance, and repair processes -Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a team environment -Hands-on experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting engine, hydraulic, and electrical systems -Proficiency in operating repair tools and equipment, as well as documentation of maintenance records
