Conduct power system studies, automation device config, and QA/QC for utility projects.

Tasks

-Adhere to DACR/FLISR/FDIR standards to deliver projects that meet quality and safety requirements. -Conduct power system studies using CYME (CYMDIST) and ASPEN OneLiner for modeling, coordination, and arc-flash studies. -Ensure high-quality design and constructability through QA/QC processes using Smartsheet, STORMS, and SharePoint. -Configure automation devices such as SEL relays, G&W Vipers, and Smart Switches for communication integration with reclosers and controls.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in CYME (CYMDIST) and ASPEN OneLiner for modeling, coordination, and arc-flash studies. -Strong knowledge of US utility design standards. -3–6 years of experience in utility or EPC distribution automation, protection, or reliability engineering. -Familiarity with ETAP/PSSE and utility automation programs. -Experience in distribution planning, load flow, and short-circuit analysis. -Experience with automation device configuration and communication integration for reclosers and controls. -Eligibility for PE/EIT certification is preferred.
