-Experience of junction improvement, urban realm /streetscape improvement, safety improvement schemes, cycling design, bus priority scheme (Desirable) -An appreciation for, and active interest in the principles of Inclusive Design (Desirable) -Construction site experience and buildability awareness (Desirable) -Awareness of intrusive and non-intrusive surveys related to highway engineering (Desirable) -An understanding of Health & Safety and CDM regulations (Essential) -Knowledge and experience of design of road markings and traffic sign to Traffic Signs Manuals and TSRGD 2016 (Desirable) -Awareness of the environmental implications of design decisions (Essential) -Experience of highway geometric design and the departures from standard process (Desirable) -Experience of undertaking pavement investigations and design including footway and carriageway renewals schemes (Desirable) -Knowledge and some experience of developing feasibility, concept and detailed design solutions to highways and traffic engineering problems (Desirable)
