The Role
Overview
Install and maintain residential plumbing systems as an apprentice technician.

Tasks
-Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges. -Perform general and specific equipment inspections. -Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings. -Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements. -Set priorities and work assignments to meet established deadlines. -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations. -Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors. -Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines. -Install all types of piping systems, fixtures and other equipment used to distribute, supply or dispose of water or wastewater, including fixtures systems and appliances in residential buildings. -Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.

What You Bring
-Consistent work with a predictable and stable work schedule. -Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position. -Registered 2nd year Plumber Apprentice. -Excellent verbal and communication skills. -Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. -At least 2 years of experience in plumbing field. -Must have a full Class 5 driver’s license with clean drivers abstract.
