The Role
Overview
Perform high‑voltage electrical work on rigs, including wiring, troubleshooting, and terminations.

Tasks
-Handles equipment such as multi meters, high voltage meggar, pipe threader and conduit bender. -Follow prescribed safety regulations / guidelines -Work also involves climbing up to 4-6 feet using ladders and crawling underneath rigs. -Lay out electrical conduit runs, pull wire, and make electrical connections in a professional manner using electrical schematics -Return leftover parts to Warehouse -Replace faulty components -Chase parts and fill in necessary paperwork -Complete appropriate paperwork for rejected parts -Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to immediate Supervisor -Troubleshoot any electrical problems -Train new hires

What You Bring
-Must have training in reading electrical schematics -May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. -Basic understanding of troubleshooting principles -Moderate physical demand in handling materials and tools while performing electrical and related operations. -The training period for this position: 12 to 18 Months -Overall knowledge of product lines -Two years minimum as an Electrician in a similar position -HS Diploma or GED required -Knowledge of high voltage terminations -Journeyman Electrician License -Familiar with handling electrical test equipment -Required to read, write and comprehend English -Use and comprehend specifications, electrical schematics -Knowledge of all electrical components on the rig and their ideal operation
