Tasks

-Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and successful project delivery. -Oversee the development of innovative and cost-effective solutions for complex structural challenges. -Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. -Lead the design, analysis, and delivery of structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and client requirements. -Provide technical expertise in the design and construction of conventional, segmental, precast, and steel bridges, as well as tunnels. -Conduct structural analysis and modeling using advanced software tools to ensure safety, durability, and performance. -Collaborate with architects, geotechnical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs into broader project frameworks. -Stay updated on the latest advancements in structural engineering, materials, and construction techniques, particularly in bridge and tunnel design. -Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. -Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications prepared by the engineering team.

What You Bring

-Experience with seismic design and retrofitting of bridges and tunnels. -Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification is preferred. -Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred). -Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., AASHTO, Eurocodes, or equivalent). -Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on bridges and tunnels. -Familiarity with advanced construction techniques, such as incremental launching, balanced cantilever, or precast segmental construction. -Knowledge of sustainability practices in structural engineering. -Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills. -Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. -Proven expertise in the design and construction of conventional, segmental, precast, and steel bridges, as well as tunnels. -Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, MIDAS, CSI, or similar).
