Tasks
-Manage assigned work effectively, including prioritizing, executing, managing schedule and budget, and reporting, to meet project goals. -Represent I&C Design Engineering in the field during fabrication and construction. -Interface with various engineering disciplines, suppliers, and other areas of the company. -Perform specification, sizing, and selection for various types of I&C components, and produce component related documentation including assessment documents, setpoint calculations, error analyses, technical specifications, etc. -Assist in providing responses to technical enquiries from design review teams and regulatory agencies. -Assist in providing technical support to engineering groups at site.Deliver technical presentations accurately and effectively. -Perform conceptual and/or detailed design of nuclear instrumentation and control systems and modifications, including definition of system functional and performance requirements and control algorithms, definition of control logic and wiring arrangements, control parameters, setpoints, instrument ranges and environmental qualification and seismic qualification. -Update and/or prepare I&C engineering design documents including design requirements, design description, elementary diagrams, functional specifications, Instrument data sheets, I/O list, etc., together with the supporting analysis/assessment documents and other design basis documents. -Provide I&C design support to the construction team in the field for the execution of system design packages. -Provide input to the drawing office for the preparation of various I&C related engineering drawings such as general arrangement drawings, instrument loop diagrams, wiring and connection diagrams, bills of materials, etc.

What You Bring
-BS Honors degree in a relevant field of I&C/Electrical/Automation engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant design implementation/construction support experience (experience with green field construction and/or nuclear industry are assets). -Excellent written and oral communication skills. -Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, member in good standing (or P.Eng. application in final stage of approval). -Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. -Experience with Smart plant instrumentation (SPI) and smart plant 3D is considered an asset. -Previous experience at an operating nuclear power station or a similar installation not required but would be an asset. -Demonstrate good technical skills and problem-solving capabilities and be able to seek practical solutions to engineering problems. -Familiarity with industrial/nuclear QA programs and procedures along with pertinent CSA, IEEE, or related I&C engineering codes and standards would be an asset. -Familiarity with instrumentation and control system functions, configurations and equipment as used for nuclear plant process systems, safety systems, or safety-related systems, or for similar systems in other industries would be an asset. -Willingness to become a Nuclear Energy Worker (NEW). -excellent leadership sskills to supervise and coach other intermediate or Junior I&C engineers Why choose AtkinsRéalis as an employer?Because we offer:
