Overview
Support construction projects as a Project Engineer Intern, handling docs, scheduling, and site tasks.

Tasks
-Documents/tasks might include:Bid package developmentBid reviewSubcontractor selection and oversightExecuting the submittal and RFI review processEquipment purchase, receiving process, and installation oversightConstruction schedule developmentEstimate development Supporting site safetyCloseout documentationSupporting cost management activities -Supporting cost management activities -Participate in site visits to monitor construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. -Work closely with contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met. Communicate progress updates to the project team and other relevant parties. -Support the preparation and review of technical documents, including blueprints, drawings and construction plans. -Estimate development -Executing the submittal and RFI review process -Assist in the planning, scheduling and coordination of construction projects. Help develop project timeline, resource allocation and work schedule -Supporting site safety

What You Bring
-Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Construction Management, Construction Science or Construction Engineering preferred -Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights -Knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations -Experience with Construction / Project Management tools and software -Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) -Eagerness to learn about the AEC industry and apply academic knowledge to real-world engineering applications -Must be willing to travel -Closeout documentation -Available during the Internship period (May - August 2026) -Must be willing to communicate and collaborate with multiple disciplines and other internal and external stakeholders (vendors, clients and contractors) -Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment -Prior internship or co-op experience in the Construction industry or related field
