Tasks

-Liaising with local authorities and relevant State agencies and departments -Construction: Overseeing the completion of the design and preconstruction process, ensuring high levels of quality and safety are achieved -Directs internal and external project team members including internal Design, Procurement, Operations, Commercial and IT/Network support teams -Manages maintaining best in class policies and procedures -Testing & Acceptance: Plan and execute a rigorous testing program to ensure the facility functions as designed and meets the expectations of Operations and customers -Transition: Facilitate the hand-off of the project to site operations, ensuring all customer requirements are accommodated -Contributes to establishing and maintaining high value relationships -Directs external vendors per project comprising general contractors, design teams, commissioning agents, equipment suppliers etc. -Provides guidance to Construction Project Managers who are driving the delivery to day-to-day Construction projects -Ensuring projects are meeting or exceeding company expectations -Overview and management of project risk registers -Manages one or more construction projects at a time -Sets goals for immediate team members -Manages contract administration procedures including generation, review, and monitoring of prime contracts, subcontracts, change orders, cost forecasts, and other pertinent documents and documentation -Mentors junior team members as needed -Manages project closure, handover and ensures lessons learnt processes are established and implemented. -Manages and monitors project progress, quality and compliance with building regulations -Supports in identifying and developing training programs -Leads by example on safety, standards, and culture -Supports cross-functional training

What You Bring

-Proven experience in project and construction management that will include critical Infrastructure for Datacentre, Pharmaceutical, Bio-tech or similar environments -English language is a must -Customer focused, Self-motivated and flexible -In-depth knowledge of relevant statutory regulations and industry best practices -Experience in construction procurement methodologies -Bachelor's degree or equivalent in construction, construction project management and /or engineering or with equivalent experience -Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project, Excel, and Visio -Ability and willingness to travel -Experience in the adoption of off-site manufacturing methods in construction
