Lifting and carrying of testing equipment required for this position.
Responsible for lifting and carrying of testing equipment.
Manage various work schedules and situations related to emergency response scenarios.
Responsible for testing and certification of HEPA air filtration in laboratory equipment and in air conveyance systems, including, but not necessarily limited to, biological safety cabinets, laboratory fume hoods, and other ventilation equipment.

Ability to carry and climb ladders and being able to use hand and power tools.
Be able to wear a respirator, safety harness and other safety equipment as needed

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical and motor vehicle records check.
Intuitive and creative thinker. Understanding of their surroundings and reason the services are being provided. A consultative demeanor and ability to work with customers / clients and offers solutions when needed.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills also very important.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Should have a minimum of 2 years of experience inspecting and testing biological Safety Cabinets, laminar flow benches, and chemical fume hoods.
Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Science or Engineering related field. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
Valid Driver’s License is required.
Ability to work independently throughout the greater Boston area is required.
Experience testing and certifying clean rooms, spray booths, and other specialized industrial ventilation a plus.
NSF 49 certification or the ability to obtain certification is required.
