Tasks

-Support: Assist in documenting outage restoration efforts and 911 responses to help communities recover from a storm quickly. -Metric Tracking: Record and track metrics for various control room functions such as police and fire to ensure the team meets its response and Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR) goals. -Communication Hub: Keep all the right groups in the loop regarding control room activities, including Network Management, Critical National Infrastructure (CNI), Distribution Control and Integration (DC&I), and Distribution Planning and Asset Management (DPAM). -Switching Coordination: Manage applications for switching work and produce clear, concise work applications and switching guidelines. -Documentation Updates: Help update Energy Management System (EMS) diagrams, paper maps, and other important documentation to keep everything accurate and in sync. -Collaboration: Work closely with other operations staff to ensure everything runs smoothly.

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s license required with a safe driving history that meets National Grid’s Safe Driver policy -Flexibility: Be prepared to work outside standard hours, which is essential for fulfilling the position's responsibilities. -Graduated between May 2025 and June 2026 -Ability to begin the National Grid Graduate Program on June 8, 2026, or July 13, 2026 -Work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (such as sponsorship for an H-1B, TN, O, L, STEM OPT, or other employment-based work authorization) -Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field from an accredited institution
