Tasks
This role is a fantastic opportunity for development within the tax field, providing opportunity to advise us and other blue chip technology organisations on tax matters across a plethora of jurisdictions including UK, France, Italy, Norway, USA, China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Australia. -Analyse and propose solutions to resolve tax issues during the project implementation phase. -Keeping up to date with changes in legislation in UK and abroad. -Check the compliance of invoices issued by the submarine cable division or received from suppliers -Obtain and synthesize the information necessary for tax audits and litigation in UK and abroad. -Participate in the reporting of tax information (provisions, tax disputes, corporate income tax charges, Sarbane-Oxley SOX). -Assist the Tax team in international calls for tenders and assist in the follow-up of contracts signed during the implementation phase of submarine cable installation or maintenance projects (analysis of tax risks related to tenders, review of tax and customs clauses). -Assistance in updating transfer pricing documentation in UK and abroad, including intra-group agreements. -Analyse and study supplier and subcontracting contracts. -To assist with setting up of the deferred tax asset and liabilities and tax true up for the entities managed by the team located in the UK. -To provide support in preparation of vat and corporate tax returns for entities managed by the team located in the UK. -Assist in creating tax processes and documentations for UK entity and group branches abroad.

What You Bring
-Background within top accounting firm – beneficial, not essential. -International Tax exposure – US, China, Australia and Europe ideal, not essential. -Working in Tax Associate, Tax Analyst, Tax Accountant or Tax Specialist role. -Experience of tax compliance in UK and other entities, if possible
