Overview
MIG welding light-gauge steel (14-12 ga) using .035 wire on night shift.

Tasks
-Set up welding equipment, including voltage, wire feed speed, and gas flow for optimal results on thin material. -Inspect welds to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications. -Perform MIG welding using .035 wire on 14 Ga, 16 Ga, and 12 Ga red and galvanized steel materials. -Grind, clean, and prep metal as needed to ensure strong weld joints. -Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all company safety protocols. -Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding symbols. -Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.

What You Bring
-Familiarity with .035 wire setup and thin material welding techniques. -Ability to work with galvanized materials without compromising weld quality. -High school diploma or GED preferred; welding certification is a plus. -Proven experience in MIG welding, especially on light gauge steel. -AWS certification (optional but preferred). -Experience in a production or manufacturing environment. -Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus. -Strong attention to detail and quality control. -Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
