What you would be doing

You will be supporting our supply of reinforcing steel to varied projects across multiple segments of the construction industry. You will interact directly with customers and internal departments, to determine customer needs and ensure accurate supply of reinforcing steel to projects of all sizes.

  • Manage enquiries from customers regarding product status and delivery
  • Ensuring strong relationships with customers, internal and external team members
  • Work with customers to ensure drawings and production schedule meet customer needs
  • Co-ordinate customer requirements in conjunction with Sales, Planning, Production and Operations to accurately forecast customer construction projects.
  • Identify potential production or product solutions, and negotiate changes with customers to reduce scheduling and production costs
  • Generate bar, cutting and bending lists from the structural and architectural drawings

  • Ideally a minimum of 2 years within a similar role
  • Previous exposure to engineering or construction
  • Demonstrated mathematical skills
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam will be highly regarded
  • Exposure to ARMA or ASA software is advantageous
  • Strong ability to multitask and manage priorities
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail skills to maintain customers delivery programs
